We bumped into a founder of RMS beauty at an island during our vacation last year. Her name is Rose Mary. Before knowing her, I had a pink eye color from her brand and liked it but didn't know much about the brand and neither about the founder.

She was traveling alone and dining alone in a resort but most of all, with her short hair with black outfit and red lip, she was noticeable. One day, while we were wandering looking for a nice place to see a sun set, she kindly approached us and recommended a gorgeous spot on the hill. Her subtle gesture was elegant but frank and attractive. Shortly after, we found out that she was traveling between her business trips to Asia and she owns a cosmetic company, which is RMS. After this short encounter, I became a fan of her and this brand! They are organic and eco friendly and rich in colors. It's also assuring that no bad chemical is used.

There are bunch of brands out there, but we don't have much actual occasion to know and feel the founder attractive in person, so it was a lucky occasion.

去年の休暇中に、島で、偶然 rms beautyのファウンダーに出会いました。彼女の名前はRose Maryさん。彼女を知る前からピンクのアイカラーは持っていて気に入っていたけれど、そんなにブランドのことやファウンダーのこと自体はよく知りませんでした。

リゾート地で一人でお食事していたのと、なにより、ショートカットの髪型と黒い服、そして赤いリップが印象的で目立っていました。ある日、私達が夕日を見るためのスポットを探しながらウロウロしていたところ、「あそこの丘の上のベンチがいいわよ」と勧めてくれました。そのちょっとした所作がとてもエレガントだけどカジュアルでとても魅力的でした。間もなくして、彼女がアジアへの出張の合間に島を訪れていたこと、コスメティックブランドをやっているが分かり、それがRMSだったのです。以来、彼女とrmsのファンで、いくつか集めています。オーガニックでパッケージもエコ、そして、発色がきれいで気に入っています。体に悪い成分が入っていないことも安心できる。

世の中にはいろんなブランドがあるけれど、それを作っている人が魅力的だって実際に感じられる機会はあまりないから、すごくいい出会いだったな。彼女のコラムも楽しいし、なにより、彼女もLess is moreと言っていて、嬉しい偶然。
